Meet our team
Our team has been carefully crafted and selected from professionals who have a desire to see change in their communities.
Clarice Nixon - Founder/ Executive Director
Clarice Nixon is a passionate and accomplished individual with a deep commitment to empowering others and making a positive impact in my community. Born and raised in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, I embraced the values of hard work, perseverance, and compassion from an early age.
With a thirst for knowledge and a drive for excellence, I pursued education and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. My dedication and aptitude in the financial domain led me to a successful 21-year career in Financial Management, predominantly in the Private Sector. Throughout my journey, I honed my skills as a Budget Analyst with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and later rose to the esteemed position of Chief of Finance and Accounting with the United States Coast Guard.
Yet, my ambition and desire to make a difference extended beyond my professional life. With a heart for community development and a passion for uplifting youth and young adults, I founded an organization tailored to providing hands-on teaching and guidance in various trades. As a member of the Board of Directors, I envisions my organization as a catalyst for helping the next generation discover their path to success.
Deeply rooted in my faith, I have been a devoted volunteer with my local church for over 15 years. Serving in ministries such as Sunday School, Youth & Young Adult, and Marriage Ministry, I discovered my love for teaching and speaking about the word of God. With an unwavering belief in encouraging others to discover their true identity and potential in God's eyes, I have become a beacon of inspiration for those around me.
My journey took an exciting turn when I recognized my passion for teaching Financial Literacy. In 2021, I made a bold decision to dedicate my time and expertise to this cause, establishing "JCN Financial Solutions." As the proud owner of this venture, I impart knowledge and wisdom on all things finance-related, empowering individuals to take charge of their financial futures.
While my devotion to financial education continues to flourish, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to explore new horizons. In 2022, I ventured into Real Estate, investing in properties with a vision to restore and revitalize her beloved city. Focused on renovating old homes and bringing vibrancy back to her childhood neighborhood, I aim to create a lasting legacy of community growth and renewal.
My journey is characterized by my resilience and determination. Guided by my favorite motto, "I love the person I've become, because I fought to become her," by Kaci Diane, I exemplify the strength that comes from overcoming challenges and embracing personal growth.
With my warm heart, steadfast faith, and unwavering dedication, I continues to inspire those around me. Whether it's through my financial teachings, community initiatives, or faith-based guidance, I remains a true role model and catalyst for positive change.
